No-Talk Thursdays

Jason Fried talks about better ways to be productive.  One of his points in the TEDtalk describes how work and sleep are similar, in that they both need about eight uninterrupted hours to benefit you the most, and they operate in phases.

He's the founder of 37Signals (Basecamp, Highrise, Backpack, Campfire) and has written a book (ReWork)  that sounds interesting too.

I don't really agree with everything he has to say, but I do appreciate that he's questioning some assumptions about work and challenging the status quo around workplaces and systems.

Some good suggestions:  No-Talk Thursdays--or one day where no one is allowed to interrupt or talk to each other.
